Trainings Offered For First Responders and Veterans
Support 4 Heroes assists with awareness regarding both risk factors and stigma’s that are found within the First Responder and Veteran Community. These trainings named below focus on identifying these factors before they cause irreversible damage to the first responder, the department, and even the families. Our goal is to decrease the amount of time off work, due to sick leave, job injuries, and administrative leave by integrating wellness through Psycho Education offered to peer support, Union Representatives, Human Resources, and leadership. The objective in offering such trainings is to reduce the affects and provide overall benefits, which include prevention and focus on identifying and managing factors that could potentially lead to substance use, forced retirement, and even suicide by increasing the connection between Mind, Body, and Spirit.
